Dr Hester O Connor qualified as a clinical psychologist
from Glasgow University in 1988. Hester was awarded her first
degree from Galway University. In 1996 she qualified as a
Group Analyst with the Institute of Group Analysis, London.
Hester has worked in the NHS for fourteen years in the specialties
of Adult Mental Health, Forensic and Learning Difficulties.
In 1998 Hester began working at Salomons on the Doctoral Programme
in Clinical Psychology as a Clinical & Academic Tutor.
In 2001, Hester extended her time at Salomons working as a
Clinical and Academic Tutor on the Salomons Statement of Equivalence
Programme. In 2005, Hester completed her Doctorate in Management
from the University of Hertfordshire. In September 2005 Hester
took up a new role as director of the Primary Care Mental
Health Workers Programme at Salomons. In addition to this
role, Hester is taking a lead on Development Programmes.
