Away Days: Work with Groups & Teams

Staff within Practice Consultancy come from a background based in Public Sector Services, with therapeutic and process skills, as well as organisational and managerial experience. Many staff have core experience as a team member, uni-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary. Helping groups and teams to develop and to reflect on process and practice is a key function to much of the team-building work that is implemented. A consultant may have an ongoing relationship with an individual team, facilitating their meetings on a regular basis; or a team-building event may be a planned and designed one-off event with a particular time-framed objective. Assessment of the group’s or team’s needs and objectives is considered to be a valuable starting point for this work.
